Hi,

Still wondering if a ture-no-need-to-open-box-solution is out there? wxripper is the closest thing, all you have to do is use that proigram and a dvd drive, but can it extract ss? or do you still have to plug 360 in to do that, which elimataes the whole idea of useing wxripper.

there is a dvd drive you can get from samsung that will make the images, without hotswaping, you just need to flash with a custom firmware, read it at www.xboxhacker.net . Currently since this hack for the dvd-rom is still being created it does not support SS dumping, but will very soon, and if you're into making your own back ups. getting the samsung SH-D162C dvd-rom is the BEST way to go. But for now, NO there is no way to do it without opening the case.
