Can I play MKV with powerdvd? I'm stuck when i star the playback, it just sits there.

My Media Player Classic plays MKV fine, but powerdvd cannot play it... why?

MPC has a built in mkv splitter. For other dshow based players you would need to have a standalone dshow splitter installed.
