DevHook no reboot on firmware and no UMD

Okay here is what happened....I had something installed on DHv.46 to where is could change firmware from 1.5 -> 2.71 without rebooting the PSP and without auto reading the UMD. I had to format the MS and lost how to do this. Any help. Also I had it to where it didnt need a UMD to read the iso....i read that it only works with older games...it was working on need for speed but it was the only one i tried for it.

One last thing is there anyway to stop the UMD from autoplaying when you boot up the PSP? I am a serious noob I know but I am a quick learner.

to stop the umd from auto running i just dont put the umd in, easiest way! there mite be a mod about no idea about tht tho

checkout a mod called vShex_MOD.zip. you must have a umd in the tray.

itll
-Disable auto-mount (you will boot straight to XMB even if you are in 333mhz)
-Back to 1.5 with HOME+Start.
-a first launch of skin support (whatever this is)

this is straight from the readme. i got this at psp-hacks.com.

no sweat man.

also when you have edit the pspbtcnf.txt. its located in the "dh/271/flash0/kd" folder. view that with wordpad. youll see it clearer when you add the

#vsh extender
ms0:/dh/kd/vshex/sat_xml.prx
ms0:/dh/kd/vshex.prx
