Hi-can anybody help? Im new to all this stuff-and trying to burn dvds.
Ive downloaded shrink-and then found out i need Nero too? Which version is best? is it easy to use? i think ive burnt dvd right so far but what are the next steps? can you send me a link for the right Nero?thanks

Hi becknev
You can also auto burn DVD Decrypter(free).
Here's a link to download it:http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/

Next time you use Shrink - 1st open decrypter go to mode>iso click write. Select your burner if not the one picked by default then the burn speed. Close Decrypter.
In Shrink after clicking back up under 'select backup target' pick 'iso and burn w/ dvd decrypter'. Decrypter will open and burn when shrink is done.

Another free option is ImgBurn 2.0 (same developer) - just need to update shrink. Here's a link for both:

For the files you already have on your hard drive from Shrink you can use ImgBurn to convert to an iso and burn.
Open ImgBurn - mode>click on build. Select the video_ts folder and the destination (your burner). In the options tab you can set your burn speed. Here's a link with some pics to help:

i think i saved them to in iso on shrink when i did-does that already mean ive got some burner thing happening?

OH NO_IM having a complete nightmere!
NOW after downloading all of the aboce-it says "copy protection error, the request could not be performed because of an I/O device error

what is this? It sounds really simple doing this dvd copy thing but i cant even get pat stage 1!!!!
HELP!!!!!

For the Nero - what can of error did you get? Install error or a burn error?

If you had Shrink create an iso then in Decrypter or ImgBurn you can burn that.
In decrypter go to mode>iso>write. Open the iso under 'source'
ImgBurn is similar - mode>write then open the iso under 'source'
For both then select your drive under destination, set the burn speed and click on the write image.

For you last error - copy protection - were you using Shrink? Which movie - there are ones Shrink can no longer handle.

It's really not that bad once you get the hang of it :)

Now do you need Nero or not - depends Nero has some other apps that you may want to use. If you have other burning software you currently use & does what you need you may not need Nero. Decrypter and ImgBurn autoburn w/ Shrink and are free.

Hello becknev,

U can use DVDFab decrypter to get past the copyright
after u use this program then u use DVD Shrink and then can burn with DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn or Nero
