is it true that ms have put new anti firmware hack in the xbox 360 now so u carnt flash ur 360 or is that bull as i just got a new 360 today and was going to flash it but not syre now since i read that

total bull.. sure there are new versions, that the current fw doesn't work on, but those new version will be hacked eventually ie. the several hitachi flashes "7in1", in the next year it will probably be "15in1"

Check if you have a samsung or hitachi, and see which version, you might have a version that the fw hack works for, acctually i guarantee you will, the xbox i just bought had "january" on it... lmao. so don't worry about anything, we're way ahead on ms right now. Unless you're gettin out of the manufacturer xbox's then you might have to wait for a updated flash.

so basicly i just open it up and see what 1 driver i got if its in the 7 in 1 im ok if not i got to wait till 1 cums out for my drive

i think i am geting it out of the manufactures as i got it from a cataloge plus when i read that if ur flashing a samsung u leave it on raid and on a hiatchi u have to switch it in the bios to read ide is that right and what about the live updates r we still safe on them as i want to update the emulator for xbox 1 games

yes live is safe, and NO always go on NO RAID.


You will have a supported hitachi. Its impossible to get 1 out of the shop, and if you did, i don't even think they're making newer versions at all their plants.

My brothers college roommate knows some high at m$ and he told me that basically they messed up and theres nothing they can do to stop us from doing what we do(back up games)...They trying to figure out a way to make the newer models coming out later this year with a hack proof firmware or drive something to that nature...So the ones that got it when it first camr out or even now are as good as gold...

:) i really don't think we are though brother, m$ can easily check your firmware... do you really think, microsoft cant find a way?

If we can take it out, manipulate it, and make it run hacked games... you think xbox can't check it??? THATS CRAZY. They made it! Of course they can, they can do things that are far beyond our understanding, beyond garyopa and comm4eva... they're microsoft... they made windows! lol

The truth is, we are running the hacked firmware, and m$ is dangling an axe over us... they can probably drop it at anytime.. but why would they? What do they have to gain? Then we'll have to work around it... and then they'll stop us again. Do they want to turn this into a cat and mouse game, they probably don't. Lets just see what happens.


One thing is for sure... we are not "good as gold"
