Certain Converted avi files wont play on my standalone

Here is my log, I have been trying to figure out why certain converted AVI files wont play on my standalone, and some do(they all work on my computer however) This is a very recent problem and I haven't had any trouble with similar files in the past. If anyone could decipher this for me it would be greatly appreciated!!

thanks for the help, I update everything, but my standalone still wont play certain files. I don't know if it has to do with the file or what. The only thing I notice is that the burning time is significantly shorter with the files that dont work on my standalone. These files do play on my computer though.......I am stumped!!!

Could be the files themselves like you said and the codecs used on why the player is not playing them but the pc will.
For those that don't play on the player you can convert them to a dvd compliant format using Nero Vision.
