Well I nail polish remover will remove any type of plastic, and the paint on it (x, triangle buttons etc). I remember seeing this stuff at my local best buy. it was for ipod screens but it doesnt matter. Anyway it was a tube of this stuff that you smeared all around your screen you waited a few minutes and wiped it off. It basically was a plastic paste and it filled in any scratches and when wiped off made a smooth "new" screen. I know this wasnt the best way to word all this but ya.

Im pretty sure the screen filler stuff wasnt more than $8-10 dollars at most. And like hodgins91 said it may not fill in deep scratches. Im not sure if walmart would carry it but Im pretty sure your local electronics store should carry the stuff. Just tell them what your looking for and even though you dont have the actual products name Im sure they can find it for you.

ianbishop, if your screen is still scratched which is the faceplate, you might wanna replace it. I got 4 here, OEM(original black), gold, crystal red, and crystal clear.
