downloaded ExPERT without a plugins folder - I have the plugin I need, but where, and by what name should I create the folder to put the plugin in so that ExPERT sees it?
Thanks in advance.

Ok - a little more detail to make my question clearer:
I found in a thread on another forum that ExPERT will only see add-on plugins if they are installed in the plugins folder that should be in the same folder as ExPERT.exe is in. (If I read that very slowly it sort of makes sense). Problem is - my download didn't come with an existing plugins folder; have tried to create a folder with my required plugin in it (I downloaded this seperately)under every variation of "plugins", "plug-ins", etc that I can think of, but the ExPERT utility still reads that it has zero plugins installed??

where you keep gnies rebuilding exe, make a new folder and call it ExPERT-Plugins,place the plug-in inside there
if you have any trouble ripping this game, check here
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/362196
and remember,i dont think this game boots on NTSC systems using swapmagic

Thanks Hursty - exactly the answer I was after and needed. Have done my homework and printed out a very complete dummies guide for duping FS2, as this is my first foray into this sort of PS2 backup, so I don't expect to have too much trouble once I get ExPert to see the plugin!
Thanks again...

p.s. to last post - have PAL, and chip, no swapmagic hassles for me...
Is there a standard set of plugins that should have been bundled with the ExPert download? If so, where do you suggest I seek them?

Sorry Hursty - haven't used IRC since mIRC was the "only" way to chat - gave it a go and saw you try to send me the file (thanks) but didn't seem to get it :(

Once you open up ExPERT, the main prog window has a clickable http link you can click on to get any plug-ins.

Thanks - I saw that, and shall make a note on my calendar for the first of next month when the site's bandwidth allocation gets reset.
I wouldn't mind seeing the tutorial on the site aswell, so that I could understand the program's use more fully...have to wait till next month for that as well!

Thanks for that.
This relinking step described in the tutorial...does that have to happen when doing the Forbidden Siren 2 crunch?, as the dummies guide I found doesn't mention it...or am I just dummier than most newbies?

Thanks for your time Hursty...and others who helped.

Tried a couple of times before downloading kit - got black screen after PS logo - I remember reading in a forum somewhere while looking for working copies of all the necessary tools, about others having same problem, and figuring out that it was to do with their cdvd gen steps?, but I don't recall the outcome, and can't find it again.
Ah- the time constraints of being a family man...will have to learn more another day...or week...or month from now.
