Yes, those are compatible.
You should comsider Ram at 667 rather than 533 if you want to get the most out of that whole deal.

Yes, that wil also work. That is better than what yuo had before. Although I would recommend some brand a little more better known than both of those simply because motherboards can be picky at times and then u get screwed. Go for Corsair or Kingston, but if there arne't any available then the ADATA Ram module will work.

Note: This should be better. If you are willing to spend a little more then this should suffice and make it worth it all. I'm not too fond of Intel dual cores as they don't perform as good like the AMD x2 3800.

here are the links to the other set up, I recommend this, but its all up to u. When u said if its any good for the money, you should have explained what you wanted to use it for. Sorry for not asking before.

Mobo:

Get the Asus A8N5X nForce4 (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-120-AS)

CPU:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Socket_939_X2.html

It's the x2 3800. The first one on there.

RAM:

I'm not trying to make yuo crap out on the ram here, but this should do. It chouls do better then one stick of 512.

In all, it might cost you a little more, but it will be better overall.

Edit:
It took me a while to answer yuo and I hope you really consider the suggestion if you have the extra amount of money.
