Playing NTSC ONLINE on PAL?

Alright, i know that some guys have tried playing PAL Games online (with patched PAL DNAS) on their NTSC machine, but it would give some kind of error.

Think it was -833 Region Error.

Well, then i read somewhere again that you can play NTSC games online on PAL machine, is it true?

Yes its true, and if you use the forum search function you'll find more info on it. In fact, I just answered another topic on the same thing within the last 24 hours. So I'm not prepared to go through it all again for the 100th time.

Ace, i tried searching, but didnt find what i was looking for.

Also, is it not possible if i have a V13 machine?

You have to have a fat ps2 to change the region of your console. If you have a slim ps2, you're stuck playing in the region of the ps2.

Yeah I play the NTSC games online from my PAL console. You need to search for Machine ID Changer.

It's great playing Madden online. The PAL version didn't have online, so I bought the NTSC one on ebay, and now I can connect to the US servers fine.
