Playing hi-def (720p) trailers off XBOX360 hd...

Hi

I was wondering if it was possible to download a hi-def trailer such as a 720p trailer from Apples trailer site and play it on the XBOX360 without streaming it via MCE?

Can I get it to the 360's hard drive via FTP or DVD and play it from there?

No, at this moment FTP is not doable.

You could MAKE a DVD video with it and just play it like a regular DVD movie, still, u cant get HD DVD quality from the DVD drive since it's not a HD DVD Drive.

The file itself (mpeg,AVI,or w/e video file) wont play FROM the DVD as a DATA DVD. You can only play movies that you download or that you stream from Windows MCE.

We all know... this sucks...

So basically at the mo if u dont want to pay for MCE then u have to purchase through marketplace?

How much do they cost per trailer?
