What is happening to my psp? Keeps asking to quit!

Hi iv never had this prob before my psp used to work like a charm but now if i press "right" on the d-pad really hard it come up to the menu were it says "are you sure you want to exit the game" it does the same when i try to adjust the volume? Why on earth is it doing this?

lol dont hit right hard
but seriously i think home is being selected without you wanting it to. I suggest cleaning it, use my guide(stickied)to open and remove the faceplate and clean anything that shouldnt be there.

ooooo no i dont wanna open my psp up i know i will do somthin wrong o yeah i forgot to mention my "home" button is very stiff

well just open it because you wont hurt it if you follow instructions fully. I think its the only way to do so.

I think the best solution is to open it, unless you have warrenty?then just get a new one

Yep, Im sure the mechanism of the D-Pad got shifted inside, your options-
1)Use iPirates guide and cleanup, it won't hurt unless u don't follow a step.
2)Give it to $ony, give em' 100$ to repair it and become their slaves by recieving a PSP running FW 2.71...

Help! I dropped it in the bathroom and now when the battery is in the PSP, it is orange as if it is charging and when it boots it freezes or stutters alot and then gets stuck! Please help me!!! I hope it's not physically damaged!!!!!! Please tell me there is a free way to fix this problem!
P.S.
I know I am double posting but please help me, I am too desperate not to double post! I will edit this message to the link of the question which is another thread when I get my answer.
If I insult you...don't get offended...my insults are "friendly insults"...I know this sounds stupid (ridiculous) but I am fet up of writing, "no offense" in my posts...

Buddy as i told ya reassemble it and post back!
Maybe u can also try using a hairdryer to cool of the water if ther is any in the PSP.{that is what my friend did when i threw his mobile in the toilet}
