can i use clone cd to rip my PS2 game to my HD?

i wanted to know if i could use clone cd to rip my ps2 game to my HD ...and is there any other ripping tool i could use that is free that would rip it to my HD?...as a .iso file? - thanks -

ok...but what if its not a DVD based game??...would clone cd work? for the cd based games?....and one more question...i have .iso PS2 games and i want to burn them on a cd...but how do i know if they belong on a cd or a dvd?

Yeah, CloneCD will copy your CD based games, but the image will be a .ccd (clonecd file), which you'd then burn with CloneCD.

With .iso files you can generally tell by the size if they're cd or dvd based. If theyre under 700Mb then they'll most likely be cd based. Over, and theyre dvd based. But if you really want to make sure, then open them up in IsoBuster. If there's just a red iso tab, then they're cd based. If there's a red iso, and a green udf tab, then they're dvd based.
