Have a Samsung drive; flashed with Xtreme3.0 Have been trying for the last week to make the drive appear in Windows for DVDinfo but it won't see it. Can anyone offer any pointers for this part? In the instructions it seems to assume this part will be automatic... but it ain't...
dont know if this will help of just sound completely stupid, but you cant write the games with the 360 drive. you need to use your computers dual layer burner. there is no need to change anything on the 360s drive with dvdinfopro.
maybe he doesn't have a spare dvd drive around?? i dont know, i prefer the xtreme method over the wxripper swap method.. no extra dummy space :\ and dmi hexidecimal extractions .
The title doesn't make sense "can't write games" it should read "can't rip games"

I assume the 0800 disk is the one the instructions said to burn to DL DVD+R disk (was called activate.iso). Burnt it and put it into the drive for about 30 seconds. Took it out, biited PC... drive not being found in Windows though. I tried both the sata connection on the motherboard and a sata card...
Anyone else you've seen having this particular problem?

P.S. Plays backups that were downloaded fine, but can't find regular X-Box games for download in 360 DL format...
From what I read, I thought I HAD to use the 360 for extracting SS. Can I use SS merger without connecting the X-box 360?? Have patience please; I am a newbie at all this.. :)
You have to burn the 0800 disk onto a DVD+R DL like the games.
Once its detected in windows use the xtreme method to backup games.. .meaning delete ss merger. Thats the old noob way, we've got your drive detected now baby lol.
edit: not a lot of xbox games emulated to xbox 360 are available for download on the torrents...
But I thought that is what I did. As mentioned, I burnt the activate.iso file onto a DVD+R DL Verbatum disk; then inserted it into the x-box for 30 seconds before trying the PC... isn't the activate.iso the 0800 img to burn like the games and get the stealth mode on or get it recognized in windows? Because if that image is the one, then it ain't working for me...
you had said a DVD+R i wanted to make sure it was a DL, since i did mine with a single layer at first in attempt to save a verb... i dunno whats wrong... maybe you need the latest drivers for windows.
