Help my ps2 wont read my Swap magic disc(cd version)

Ok my ps2 is a V5 I do believe. It reads cd-r's becaue I am cabable of playing my (it might be nes) emulator. My question is there any way to boot cd-based back-ups without using swap magic cd version?

ALSO-it wont read my x-port cd anymore, but it reads my other blue back games.

Presumably if you've got X-Port, then you might have AR2v2 as well?
You can use that to boot CD based PS2 games. Just use your swap method to change discs once you've chosen to "start game with" or "start game without" codes.

Naw man I dont have that. Could i use dvd loader to load cd-r backups?
