I just joined afterdawn today so I don't really know where thsi si supposed to go. Anyway I have a stock xbox with no warranty that turns on/off 3 times then flashes red and green with no audio or video. It wasnt opened before I got it but I don't know if it was sofmodded or not. It was a pawnshop xbox. It is a v1.4 or v1.5.

hello person who is reading this, thank you for control of your mind.

Arte you sure that it wasnt opened! That sounds like a bad (chip) install to me or a hardware failure!

ok it was opened by me but by no one else, and I am sure it hasn't been hard modded. I was also told to try burning enigma's video mode switcher onto a DVDR and put it in my xbox and start pressing "b" to change the video mode to NTSC but my dvdrom drive couldnt read it. And I really don't see how making the hd stock again will make it stop "christmas light"ing.

I get nothing on video and I hear no audio, also the xbox is stock which means is hasnt been hard modded which means it hasnt been modded with a mod chip.

Return is your best option. It would be very hard to troubleshoot a hardvare failure. Did they tell you is wasn't working when you bought it.
