im looking for a step by step guide on how to do the crossed wire or 1k resister method as im not to sure i have got a guide but it dosent explain things to good as it dosnt say if u can use a sata cable from ur pc to ur 360 or if u have to use the cable from the 360 its self and all that so any help would be good and it would be well apriciated as well

this is what i get every time i try it

if you don't have a good copy of the tutorial, you shouldn't even be thinking about crosswire... do you want to break your xbox?
EDIT: Does your tutorial have pictures, do you understand the 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 slots on the power cord... just jam two wires into 0 and 9 slots, and touch them... power on the xbox, then immediatly untouch them... i pinched them with my fingers, then released my pinch when i turned on the xbox... the light will flash green, you're in modeB.
Looking at the power cable to the back of the dvd drive, you see this
"o" means empty, "x" means occupied.
the zero hole is on the top right
o x x x x x <----- zero
o x x x x x
..^
the 9 hole is on the bottom left (not the empty hole)
Lift up the individual tiny plasitc "lock" holding in each of the wires, and pull out the wires. Then place your own wire about 5 inches long back inside the 0 and 9 hole spots with the wire that was previously in the spot...now touch your wires, turn on xbox and immeditaly untouch them
once in modeB the green light in the middle of the ring will flash. Do not turn off your xbox until hack is done, turning it off takes it out of modeB

yer mines got all that but it didnt mention what wire to do it on so its the dvd power cable and is the other end what u conect to the sata cable or card i do have the slax cd tho but been told that dosnt work on the VIA VT6421L pluse it tells me to go into ide not raid

lol thanks now all i need to no is what i got to do in the comand prompt i no i got to type flash.bat something but is it like this flash.bat h 6785 or is it like flash.bat/h/6785

exactly how the tutorial says "flash.bat h 6785" if your xbox 360 is on a different drive letter than it wont be "h" it could be "i" then it would be "flash.bat i 6785"
