Hey,
I have a sony vaio and it has a built in 802.11 "b" WiFi antenna, and I have an 802.11 "g" PC card for my laptop as well. Both usually work fine, but recently both the built in adapter and my card adapter have not been working properly. They both can connect to WiFi networks and work properly for about an hour. Then, after the hour has passed, my internet connectivity is lost and I get a "limited or no connectivity" error from the two computers icon in my taskbar that represents the wireless connection. I have tried clicking the "repair" button, but it just hangs at "refreshing your ip". And of course I have tried simply disconnecting and reconnecting to the wireless network; that doesn't work either. I have also tried power cycling my router and my modem; no luck there. Eventually I give in and I restart my computer which always fixes it... for an hour. Does anyone have any ideas? I am running XP Pro w/ all the latest updates. Thank you!
