Console ID changer for Slimline Ps2's?

I've been out of the online patching scene for a long time.
Last I remember, DNA$ ID wasn't everything, even the machine ID needed to be in coordiantion with the region of the online backup.

Now the problem was, I have a NTSC JP slimline, and I wanted to patch and play NTSC UA or PAL games online. Then I got hit by some region code error again. That's when I found out that the machine ID was needed to change my ps2 to NTSC or PAL - BUT it did not exist for Slimlines until then.

But that was a long time ago, like 6 months almost. I wanted to ask if there was something that would change the machine ID for Slimlines out yet?????

you can only change it with ps2 ver 1-8(i think)
i know for sure that it will not work with slims

There is not, and most likely never will be a Machine ID Changer for slimlines.

Damn. I'm going all orginial way with next-gen. Couldn't play one game online on Ps2.
