devhook ultimate installer bugged

I always have the same problem when i use the ultimate installer after a couple of days the wallpaper loads itself onto my psp and then whenever i try to run devhook it says it's coruppted data... :S

Anyone know how to stop this - is very annoying having o reinstall every 5 mins!

Not too sure about this problem but i assume that it is because your PSP may be in 2.71 firmware mode try going back to 1.5 (hold power button up for 3 seconds and switch back on).
Also try looking through the folders to check everything is in the right place.
You could try wiping all downloaded/installed contents off your memory stick and then re-install the ultimate installer just using the first option 2.71 upgrade.
Only other option i could reccomend is wiping the memory stick completely and formatting it then running the ultimate installer (just option one 2.71 upgrade)

After searching on many sites and trying to install DevHook via dumps decryption methods and all of these unessecary steps i finally found the Ultimate Installer. I havn't tried an ISO yet but it is showing my PSP as 2.71 firmware and seems to be working. I'll let you know if i have the same problem in a couple of days.

Happens everytime!
I can't believe noone else is having same problem :S
Ive tried using different installers and it happens with each one

also have u tried formatting your memory stick? even if u reinstal devhook the file tht may be causing it do what ur saying could still be there

Have you gone onto System Settings and checked that youre Firmware is 1.5?

yeah - i had to downgrade from 2.5 but that was done fine.
It seems to be getting worse - i can play fine then after a while when i boot up psp there is a wallpaper and nickname that installs itself - once thats done i can't open up devhook without it saying corupted data. Thought it would be a common problem but just seems to be me - tried different installers 4.5 v108 , 4.6 v 108/109
