can someone please help me??? i cannot get my windows media player to work... on a website if i try to download and watch something nothing happens...... if i click on the media player in my start bar nothing happens..... quick time still works but i get nothing with my windows media player

Try updating all of your codecs download this pack and install it after that try again:

If still no success let me know and i will suggest something else :)

Also this is the download for XP if you are running another operating system let me know

do you have SP1 ot SP2?

Also install this because i have known videos not be able to play because this isn't installed:

i dont know what sp1 or sp2 means............ sorry.... i downlaoded the shockwave......... but still nothing.......... oh ya how do i update all of my codecs???

that first pack i told you to download would of updated your codecs

To find out if you have service pack 1 or 2

Go to control panel for me and click system then a window will open and below the sytem heading it will tell you what service pack it is :)
