Hi guys,
I just picked up a dvd player that allows me to play mpeg4 and DivX. I've got a few videos on my computer currently in either .wmv or .mov

Now I've managed to convert a few to DivX using the DivX 6.3 converter they offer on their website but the program won't convert the .mov file and I've got 2 .wmv files where I get an error saying the "Frames per second" arn't consistent so it won't convert.

Are there any FREE programs that will covert these to mpeg4 for me?

If by mpeg4 you mean XviD/DivX and mp3/AC3 in an AVI container, then there are plenty. mencoder can basically convert anything. You might want to try a frontend like Super though.

About the wmv file. WMV supports VFR (Variable Frame Rate) where as AVI is only CFR.
