okay here we go.....this dvd plays fine in all players and 6 different computers so far, its size is right around 2gig so no compression is neccessary, it also shows to not be encrypted according to SmartRipper, dvdshrink, and a couple others. Also it shows disc name as "undefined" instead of the title. Now problem is no matter how I back it up I get a unsupported file format error or a whole lot of green pixels in my video. I've been backing up my own movies for a couple of years now and haven't seen anything like this, the disc format looks fine and file structure looks okay but as soon as you put it on your hard drive its trash.....how does that make sense with no encryption and no compression should just read and copy files right?

"undefined" is no biggie, I've seen a few discs (porn usually) like that which copy fine.

DVDShrink is usually pretty good at producing compatable output, no Shrink errors when importing is usually a good sign.

Try with DVDDecrypter, ISO-> Read, then load the ISO into DaemonTools or Nero ImageDrive and see if it plays on your computer. If it does burn a copy using the mounted image as the source.

You might also try this app on files ripped to your HD.
