Can anyone tell me how to create a good sig it should b animated and can u tell the software also pls it should have something in motion pls help i m tired of this v v v v boring sig

Go to a site like gamerenders.com or planetrenders.net and choose the render you want to use. Then download the trial version of photoshop cs2 and install. Do a google search on "sig using photoshop tutorial" or something similar and start reading through some tutorials to give you a basic idea of how photoshop works. When you have a grasp of the basics you can then look at animated tutorials.

I created different layers for each letter and then added the layers to the frames in animation.

Wow Damo you go all out....you dont just put the text on a single layer, duplicate the layer, then transfer to IR and animate it?

It was my first animation so didn't know you could do it that way!!!! Didn't use a tut was just playing around.

Oh, i wasnt trying to say your way was wrong. I have never tried to animate it letter by letter like you have, so i might be wrond. Either way, your sig looks great :)
EDIT
If you didnt use a tut, you did a damn fine job on the animation. I had to be spoonfed to figure out Image Ready!!

I just thought it would be easier to do it that way cos of the way I wanted the animation. Didn't touch image ready apart from saving it. Have done a few sigs for myself and a couple of other peeps that are probably better than this one, but I kinda like it, for now!!!!

Best way to do it is just to request one from a graphics site. Learning photoshop is no easy feat.
Firmware - 1.0 > 1.5 > 2.0 > 2.5 > 2.6 > 1.5 > 2.6 > 1.5
I make my own signatures, isn't that an amazing and boring fact for me to put here? Don't PM me with an answer...well you could, give me something to talk about or you would probably be completely rude about the matter....just one more dot? ok ..... . |

I find it more rewarding to make one myself, plus I like learning new stuff, and then you can make them for other peeps that may not have the time or the skills.

Why request one when you can make one yourself? Besides my ps2, PS is the best waste of time their is.....on my other site we have weekly sig contests, really makes things interesting.

Yeah, its on XS...we have some sick artists.....Dvdback, Jamaal10, (cough)myself,theridges.......gets really competitive. Your more than welcome to join and participate. This weeks theme is cars, which I must win lol

I've seen some of jamaals work and dvdback made a sig for me, and both are very talented. Did you make your sig yourself? If so, you also have skills. I've noticed that both jamaal and dvdback have both written numerous tuts on ps techniques over at xs, so when I do my next batch, i'll have a closer look at them!!!

Yes I did make m sig:) They both have crazy skills, and an unforunate turn of events has caused both of them to reitre from aD, so thats that. They are working hard at expanding the PS section, and welcome any skills you might want to share....for instance your technique for IR.
