hi i was wondering ive heard of people selling hard drives on ebay for xboxs already modded is this true ? i heard you just make them with xbox harddrive maker and pop into any xbox and you have a modded xbox but i thought only the xbox with that eeprom would take it can any 1 shed any light for me because it would be alot easier if somebody wanted a bigger harddrive and needed to mod there box

As Long as you buy the drive unlocked and have the eeprom for your xbox,yes you can use XboxHDM to lock it back to your Motherboard...

ok thanks alot so if i were to use my hddmaker disk with my xbox c /e on it and leave it unlocked all i need to do is use some 1 elses xbox eeprom to lock it and it will work in there xbox and be i dentical to my own ?

no you need to use the eeprom from your xbox....if you dont then it will not work with your xbox....if you dont have the eeprom to your xbox then you are out of luck....

sorry i think you missunderstood i have a xbox hhm disk witch i used to restore my origanal xbox harddrive when i modded it and it went wrong so i was saying if i used that disk to make another for a friend who has his eeprom will it lock the drive and work in his xbox sorry if ive conused you even more lol

what ever eeprom the xbox comes out of,is the only xbox it will work in,

i need help! i modded my xbox with xbmc and i was playing around with the mc360 skin and was adding a new theme to it, while i was ftp'ing it over i applied it by accident and now all that comes up is a black screen when i turn it on. i tried connecting to FTP but it givs me about 3 seconds of connection to the xbox harddrive at a time which allowes me to do NOTHING.
