Maybe if you choose create new data cd and drag both files onto Nero...but I'm not sure it will work. I've never done it myself.

yes it is possible, because they would be data on the cd, just select burn a data cd.

also by application u mean program right?

The resulting files will be just as they are on your hard drive. In other words, the image file will still be an image.
