when im trying to play AVI video files in windows media player, all i get is the audio with a black background. when the player starts it says error downloading codec, the name of the video has a red exclamation mark next to it in the now playing list, i right click on it go on error details, then go on web help. when i get there it says this:

i downloaded what it said and it did nothing, i googled it and got nothing. please help me.
btw, im running windows media player 10, with windows xp home edition sp2, all the latest updates have been installed from windows update.
