dose anyone know if a DVD Player for PS2 .. to play .avi from DVD`s ???how the cd player is, only to red DVD`s

i haven't done it but they have media players for ps2 but you need swap magic or a chip to boot and supposedly you can play AVI and mpg...

yes ... i have Infinity 1.4 ... but to play .avi ... i have a CD Player for ps ... so first i insert the cd , after i make some setings ... and i have "brows" i pres "brows" and insert the .avi cd works .. the "example.avi" apears and i pres play and works, but dosent works whit DVD, dosent appear nothing wen i put the dvd in ... i think i need a DVD player program to insert first. can anyone help me ?
