Hello, does anybody know if it is possible to mod PS2 games.I'm about to purchase HD Advance, and wondered if it was possible to actually mod these games saved on the hard disk? For example, the cars and such can be modded on the PC version of GTA: San Andreas, and many sites and patches exist for this....is there anyway or any sites that post mods for the PS2 versions? Please let me know...as I'd love to cruise "Ganton" in a 2006 Mercedes SL600!!

to be honest, i'm not sure. i know you can MOD GTA:LCS on psp by using CheatDevice, and i know you used to be able to MOD NFS:HS and stuff like that by downloading cars and skins, but i'd assume, if u can keep somehow find cars or the car you want in the format it needs to be in, or create it, you could replace another car inside the game or maybe just add another (possibly doubtful because there is traffic and it might cause an error unless it's been 'swapped')

you'd have to find the location of the car information (you would have to do this on a PC and decompile the ISO)

if this is even possible!

it is possible to mod some games like pro evolution 5 and winning eleven 10, so it can be done. you could try extracting all the files from the ps2 game onto your pc, then use imgtool v2 to edit the gta3.img file like you do on the pc and just use the mods that are available for pc.
anyone willing to try this? i would try it but i only have 1 disc left and i want to use it for something that i know will definetly work.

i figure that ill download the san andreas torrent....then ill have the full game files on the pc....then try and use the PC version mod tools to apply it to the game files? maybe that would work...possible you'd need to redesign the vehicles though...not even sure yet until i look into it properly

Ok, This is a completely different subject. does anybody know where I can get an actual size image of a ps2 slimline v12 motherboard. it needs
to be the exact size as the actual motherboard, not bigger, not smaller.

Yeah that is way off topic.
Anyways I'm pretty sure you can find the actual size pictures on sites like dms4.com under the diagrams section.
