I have a problem with my laser making unhealthy sounds (check http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/380845 ).

This only happens with Sega CD games. All Sega Ages 2500 suffer from this and so does the Japanese VF4 Evolution. All my other CD games are fine. Raiden III, DoDonPachi DaiOuJou, and Gradius IV all work perfectly. I burned all games with my CD games using Alcohol 120%

I was thinking that maybe this is Sega's fault and nothing to do with the CD media I am using. I use Tevion CDs, the brand is an unknown one but I trust these discs. Although they are cheap, I have used them for lots of different things and have had no problems with them. Compared to other discs I have used (even high quality ones like Maxell and Sony) these are excellent. Has anyone else had problems with their Sega games?

Please reply if you have tried any Sega games (CD or DVD).

I gave up using Maxell, because in 10 only one works well,(long loading time, not booting etc...).
I have a few Sega games for ps2 and all work well.
Use same burning method as yours.
Best media I tried was: Dvd---TDK, Verbatin,Traxdata
Cdr---TDK, Verbatin
