Namely my x-port disc(blue back) and my swap magic 2.0 cd. I would like to be able to boot one of those so I can load on my memory card exploit. with x-port bein out i cant transfer it to the card and with out being able to boot cd- backups(because of S.M. 2.0) I cant load the exploit on from a cd-r. How can I get my exploit on HELPPP!

My PS2 has got similar problem,it wont read any of my CDs ,it only reads the DVD media.

The problem seems to be of the lens,it has got weakened.The only solution to your problem and mine is that we get a brand new genuine lens.............................ive tried the lens position adjustment ,but it was of no help!

What ps2 version? how old is it?

This is mainly due to ps2's being able to read dvd's much easier and if youve got a weak laser it will not read it. there is a way you can put a cd based game to dvd but not many work maybe your game will if you want it tell me? also i would reccomend to stop trying cd based games if it wont read it cause it will strain youre laser to a point where it wont read no discs

ok its a v5 and i can boot my gameshark disc and play my cd-r of imbnes, but i cant boot my swap 2.0 and load up a cd-r of my exploit. what i really want is pgen and snes to work. i know you can pout them on dvd but i really want to get my memory card exploit working as well.

i would say most of them work buddy,from what i can remember the only game that i havent got to work is maximo,there may be a few others,but not many
probably 99% of games will convert to dvd

i know satr wars dosent work on swap magic when converted

But if it wont read cd's i would start saving up for a new ps2 or ps3 or a new laser
