Wierd Dash Problem

Hey everyone, whats up?

Well my problem isn't really the installing of the dashboard, its making the disk correctly.

I want to use the xbox-Hq v3.0 dashboard auto installer and during the actual burning of the disk, there's no problem, but when I put it into my xbox, it gives me "This is not an Xbox disk" message.

I should also tell you that I'm trying to overright an old dashboard that was on there when I bought the xbox.

Materials:
1. Verbatim DVD-R's
2. Sony dvd burner
3. SmartXX Chip

What ds board do have? I think you might have to uninstalled the original and then try to reinstall the new one there no such thing tha I have heard of upgrading that easy.

the only reason that I'm replacing the dashboard, is because the one that the xbox came with is in spanish and I cant change the language.

For some odd reason I cant FTP my Xbox to my comp.

Your Xbox isn't modded, so it can't load that disc. Has nothing to do with how you're burning it. It's also why you can't FTP into it.

Either softmod it or change the language settings on your dashboard. It really shouldn't be too difficult to find it.

Should be something like this.

I've seen the chip myself, and I can play backups, trust me it's modded.

Well, do you at least know what dashboard it is?

Also, what burning application are you using? Try using ImgBurn and burn at 4x.
