Here's my Problem:
I brought 2x 1GB PC3200 Sticks of RAM from eBay. It claimed on the page that High Density Memory was only compatable with certain Motherboards.

Got it installed and will boot Windows fine but when playing a game it will work for 5 mins and then Bluescreen. With that I tested the RAM to see if it was bad using MemTest and it found 2612 Errors in Test 5.

The seller is now claiming that High Desnity Memory will not work with my Motherboard but it boots up fine. However, Sammorris said that it should work.
Quote:
Rubbish. You just shouldn't mix the two. If it's all high density, it should work unless the RAM is faulty
I think it should work to but am unsure. Could someone please tell me who is correct before I spend more money on Low Density RAM.

Thanks, Dave.

the forum rules r that if someone tells u to buy something u first gotta do some research on it to c if it truly works, anyways remove a stick of 1gb to c which is the faulty stick or if the 2 sticks r bad or uncompatible

It appears that working in Dual Channel they throw up errors. But in Single Channel they work just fine. There are no big noticible diffrences between the sticks.

There is however on one two codes printed on it. One Diffrent to the other stick printed on the same way and the other the same but on the opposite side printed in white.

I might just send them back and get Low Density Ones or A Refund.
