PSP No video and no sound Please Help!

Hello can anyone help me with my PSP which has no video and no sound? My eight year old might have dropped but there is nothing on the screen and i get an amber light when the power is connected.. I tried removing and replacing the battery but nothing. Any help will be appreciated..Thanks anyone

if he might of dropped it he could of broke the lcd,so could try fixing it by yourself which i dont think you would want to do, so take it take it to a game shop that repairs them. i think would be the best bet for you.

edit my bad didnt read it had no sound aswell,so what exactly happened then we mite be able to help you

Thanks yes it was working and when i connect it i just get an amber light but nothing on the screen. I tried connecting it to the PC but it does not recognize it at all. Is there anyway that i can check to see if the screen is shot? Thanks and Please keep helping.
