hi,
i just bought a 1.5 psp and would like to know if i can play a umd which requires 2.5 version????
and i downloaded a few games and its in iso format but when i load it with umd emu it doesnt work???
plz help

1.if u want to play fw 2.5 games u can emulate fw 2.50 with a programe called devhook i belive
2.are the iso's showing on the psp

I realise your new to the forums and PSP scene. However you really need to search a little before posting. All the info is readily available.

format your memory card to start from scratch
use UI 1.1.1 to install Devhook 0.46 with 2.71 firmware (top option)
Get the download here http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/673
copy the ISO you have to the ISO folder on your memory card
Insert ANY UMD into the drive
Select Devhook from the programs list on your memory card (top 1) and enter these settings:

UMD SELECT - "game title".iso/cso (select the Game You're gonna play)
UMD MOUNT - ISO ANYUMD
UMD VERSION - 2.xx-> 2.00
FIRMWARE - 2.71
CPU CLOCK - 222/111 (333 if you dont use wifi and/or have few games)
BOOT SELECT - reboot XMB
OTHER > REMOTE CTRL - "No Change"
OTHER > preload address - "No Change" (89000000) default
OTHER > USB OPTION - ON if you use USB and loads ISO from PC
OTHER > SCREENSHOT OPTION - "No Change" Disabled by default

thats it, job done, simple.

yes the iso's are showin on my psp but when i click it does nothing it just freezes and gets shut down.this happens wit all the software's i tried.

trying to run iso's i downloaded off the net...i have gta in 1 iso it is 1.17 gb and i can see my iso wit fastloader but when i click it my psp gets frozen???

did u place the ISO file in the ISO folder on the root of ur memory card. u must did something wrong on the memory duo card structure.
