is it possible to boot a backed up ps1 game one the ps2 with cog swap or similar program via a memory card exploit. i have cog swap and i cant seem to make it work i thought i read that somewhere that u could but yah help will be much apriciated.. when i run the back up through cog swap it just spins forever and doesnt go n e where.. :S?

i have also done some reading myself through the search and tried a number of methods that sorta work but none fully. I tried the switching disks in teh browser window thing. i tried switching disks while it is loading a real PS1 disk and i tried the SMS method that boobooman outilined. none of these worked for me. SMS says insert valid PS2 disk. and the other 2 load to the sony computer entertainment screen and then nothing further even after about 5-10 mins. (they aren't goin n e where) .(all my swaps for these trials have been done via flip top method on a version 7 PS2)

Thanks for n e further help just figured id give u guys some more background on my problem
