T42p returned from college with Cisco Clean Access network software installed and wireless disabled. Able to turn on adapter by uninstalling the Cisco software, adding firewall exception, returning radio to on & checking "Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings" box in Wireless Network Connection Properties.
But the last, which is supposed to be checked as a default, resets to unchecked when computer is restarted & adapter will not work again. Wondering if Clean Access software or one of the university techs altered the registry to eliminate the default for checking this box.
Anyone know which regedit setting puts the default property as checked for "Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings" ??
Thanks
