I have these two Ps2 backups, 1 downloaded 1 copied, one game is on: 587 mb and the other is on 407 mb. The problem is, that I heard that you cannot burn a game that fits a normal cd on a dvd disc and play in in a chipped ps2 (In my case Swap Magic).
I tried anyways and burned the 407mb game on a normal cd (700mb~), didn't work (tried to use the Swap Magic Dvd disc and then the Swap magic cd disc). Then I Burned the 587 mb game onto a normal disc and did the same thing... didn't work. So I burned the 587 mb game onto a DvD disc (4x speed), and used the Swap Magic dvd (as a normal ps2 dvd game)~ still didn't work...
Anyone who know what kind of problem I have here? because I can't figure it out... and another thing, anyone who know why you got both a Swap Magic cd disc and a dvd disc? (I have no idea... the cd disc doesn't seem to work anyway).
Hi there. I did get a backup of Disgaea and even though it fits on a CD, you still need to burn it to a DVD, otherwise, it will not work. I did the same thing and the only way I was able to get it to work was to burn it on a dvd...

but I tried that with 3 different games now :P I get the text: no valid ps2 disc (or something like that).
I have no idea on what could be wrong... the other games works perfectly fine
