Nero Burning taking too long!? PLEASE HELP!!!

I am burning Futurama episodes on a DVD with Nero 7. I have converted the episodes to DVD format with WinAVI. It says it will take 96hours to burn. It looks like Nero is trying to recode the episodes. Please help.

Hi JahSolja
Which app in Nero are you using? Sounds like you may be running the converted files thru Vision.

You can use Burning Rom or Express to burn the files/folder.

Vision. If I burn it through Burning Rom can I create a menu? I need a menu for my Futurama. Thats the reason im using Vision. If I cant create menu's with Burning Rom (cuz i know i cant with express) do you know a progam or something were i can make menus? thx for replying.

ALSO, I had downloaded robin william stand up then i converted to dvd with WinAVI and then used DVD srink and burned it through that and the audio sync was really off, in the begining it was fine then it stoped for a few seconds and the audio was off. but i put this in run in the start menu and i cant try it yet but tell me if it works:

Disabling certain Nero filters by executing the following commands:

Start > Run > regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\DSFilter\NeAudio.ax

Start > Run > regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\DSFilter\NeVideo.ax

I have yet to try it but im hoping it will work.

Ah you want the menus - no you'll need to use Vision to add them.
For another program that does menus and burns - probably are otheres just don't know of any off the top of my head.

For the robins wms one - source file audio ok?

Running those commands would only work for Nero - not WinAvi or Shrink.
Might work - I just don't know what else if anything it would affect in Nero.

Did you try doing the Futuramas or Robin Wms w/ Vision before using Winavi to convert? Just letting Nero do the whole deal?

The time bit it usually starts out kinda high then drops down but 96 hours it a bit much.
No multi tasking and close all programs that you can.

ya cool thx for your help. Im converting cheech and chong now :). Soo after its done ill test out robin williams and ill test out futurama. Ill post back later who knows it might be useful to someone elese. If i need any more help ill be sure to post here. Thx again.
