I ve been using fw 2.6 and playing homebrew games using the GTA LCS hack and i bought madden. it says for me to upgrade to 2.7 do i have to do this and if so will i lose the capability of playin the homebrew games or is there some way around it.

If you upgrade the gta exploit will no longer work. You have the choice of either waiting for a downgrader if you have a TA-082, or waiting for a umd emulator used with eLoader. Homebrew or one game?? personally, i would choose homebrew any day!

also if your psp doesnt have the ta-082 PCB then you can downgrade it and have 1.5 and all the benefits on 2.71. check this page to see if you have the ta-082 PCB.

OK I DOWNGRADED TO 1.5 HOW EASY WAS THAT , WOW BUT IT STILL SAYS I NEED TO UPGRADE. Am i missin sumthin here?

i installed devook v0.46 with fw 2.71 it says it installed to my psp but nothin has changed i dont see the web browser or nuttin did i do sumthin wrong.

you need to run devhook , and launch a umd/iso etc, then in the game if you press home you go back to 2.71 firmware, but then when you want to go back to 1,5, press home+srat ot just give the psp a hard reboot ( hold power button up for 10 sec)

ROFL! ok im not the only 1!(well actually i had no problems after i got through the devhook part)and it never said that well i dont have madden 07 but its 2.71 so it should work.and ther should be a internet browser with a backround of devhook thats blue and makes cool music when u just pick the program and dont use it.

its like duh duh duh duh(hold)duh duh duh duh duh duh!

and ive got internet browser and i played umds on it like street fighter alpha 3 MAX.u did something wrong if u dont even c a internet browser!
