I have been trying to burn a CD version of Sonic riders. I cant use my dvd burner right now. but when I try to load it with swapmagic its tells me its not a valid ps2 disk.

I have tryed burning it twice. both times using Alcohol 120%. I know its not the midia because I have alredy burned 2 other ps2 games and 4 ps1 games fine.

I tryed it at 4x wright speed and 12x.

what am i doing wrong

Its most likely too big for the SM cd too boot. Most DVDRips are, cos they're not made with SM in mind.

Rip more of the game out of it, so its smaller than the 74min TOC limit of the SM cd version, which may not be possible anyway.

Best to get a full dvd version & use a dvd burner to burn to DVD-R anyway, cos your rip isn't the full game.

thanks but I have no idea how to rip out parts of the game. when I D/l it, it said cd version and it was under 700mb so I tryed to burn it.

I would just burn the DVD but my normal computer's processor is fried so I cant burn dvds untill I can get a new one. so im stuck using my moms laptop which cant burn dvds

I think you have to open SYSTEM.CNF and edit it so that it makes the PS2 think it's a CD.
