Since the last update...I haven't been able to burn any DVDs. Keeps telling me that the dvd is copyright protected. I have AnyDVD and Clone DVD. I don't understand what is wrong or what to do. Could anyone give me any input.

Thanks,
cat

check to make sure you have the latest version of ANY DVD as this program is being updated at various times because the studios are trying to prevent the newer movies from being riped and burned

THOSE DOWNLOADED MOVIES ARE Protected with DRM and AnyDVD can not do those movies.

if they were protected with FluxDVD AnyDVD can do them..
downloads from CinemaNow...

The infection known as FluxDVD, you know the one that puts so many bad sectors in downloaded and burnt DVDs that most players have a hard time playing it, has been comprehensively fixed by Slysoft

note i have not tested,as i will not download movies...

may be some one who download movie's from CinemaNow can enlighten us..

Did u try to first take it through DVD Fab Decrypter then DVD Shrink then try CloneDVD 2 or just let CloneDVD 2 do the compression.

@cathy3811

so everything was working fine until you downloaded the latest version of AnyDVD 6.0.5.0? if you are getting the "copyright protected" error message i would think that means AnyDVD is not working. you might want to try uninstalling and reinstalling that latest version of AnyDVD. another option would be to uninstall it and reinstall the last version you were using that worked, since you aren't at the moment attempting to backup up any very current releases it won't matter about the encryption. that would at least tell you if something else has changed on your system... if the last version that worked is reinstalled and it doesn't work... then you know the problem is somewhere else and not with AnyDVD. make sense? i know it's a lot of work... AnyDVD should just work... haven't seen people having this problem with 6.0.5.0. let us know what happens.

I am not sure why it wouldn't let me burn those 2 children's videos. I got to burn 2 movies today. It is really strange. But I have noticed since the update that my burns take much longer.
