I recently bought need for speed most wanted and made a mini-image off of it. now when i try to play the game, the game loads but i have to wait around 10 minutes for the game to start up. it take the same time when i want to race or free roam. all i want to know is why is it this slow to load?

Could maybe be you need to defrag your PC? My games are really slow to load if I don't defrag at least once a month.

even if it were the lack of defrag it still should not take that long.It may be the hard drive itself.whether it's going bad due to bad sectors or maybe just has a slow cache and spin time.

What model pc do you have, the full model including number?

Ok thanks.Well your hdd spin time and cache is a bit slow compaired to newer hdd's and I think it's a mixture of your entire set up.What's most alarming is that your mobo doesn't have pci-e or agp which is truely rare and a very bad thing.I'm abit surprised you can play this game at all,it being newer and what not. Here's the full specs in case you don't already have them.

All in all it should be expected from this type of rig.
