Hi guys
Can anyone tell me what unlocking a handset actually allows??
I have an LG 8330 which is supposedly unlocked from the 3 network. I have put a Telstra sim card in it but cannot get GPRS or MMS features activated. Telstra said that they do not have the settings and that I need to speak to 3 but 3 won't touch it coz it's not under contract with them...
Can anyone advise if this is just Telstra and 3 network being a*%&holes or is there something that can be done to the handset to allow for these features??
