I was wondering if i could downgrade a psp that i bought in a store and it was version 2.5/2.6 cause i read somewhere that u can only downgrade psp's that were upgraded to those versions

i believe it works on factory ones also as long as its not a ta-082. my friend downgraded his factory 2.6. if your's is 2.5 you can always run the 2.6 eboot then downgrade it.

Ive done a couple of PSPs that were 2.6 from new. Just need to check the Motherboard first. If its brand new then you could get away with bricking it anyway (not that you would cos its really easy to downgrade) cos the shop would have to swap it for you if you said it didnt work when you got it home....

ok just to clarify: You can downgrade 2.5 and 2.6 factory PSP. That was a disclaimer becuase mostly all 2.5 and 2.6 factory PSPs are TA-082
