Killzone & Onimusha 4 problems

I backed up both games, and Onimusha plays untill about 2 min into the game and the screen fades to black. Killzone played untill a little into the second level now my PS2 just won't read the disk (no scratches or marks). I can still play other back ups fine "Genji" was copied the same way using the same media (Verbatim DVD+R) and I completed the game last night with no problems. DVD Decrypter was the program used.

Thanks, I did after I posted this and Onimusha plays past the black out point of last dvd. Haven't tried KZ yet.
