Hey Whats Up Everyone? Im A New Member Here. I Been Reading In These Forums For A Couple Of Days Without Registering. So I Finally Decided To Register =).

Before Anyone Says Anything, I Have Searched For 2 Days In These Forums And Others Forums To Find The Answers To My Problems. My Current Problem Is Booting The Game. After I Burn The Cd And Verify The Contents, It Says Its Fine. So I Insert My Burned DVD Into My PS2 (With Mod Chip). Then It Says "PlayStation 2" Sometimes Very Quickly, And Sometimes Normal. It Depends How I Burned The DVD ( I Havent Figured Out Why It Displays Quick & Or Slow). Then After That It Stays In A Black Screen.

My Current Tools:

CD/DVD Generator 1.50
IML 2 ISO v4
Nero Suite 7 (With Burning Rom 7)
DVD Decryptor 3.5.4.0
ISOBuster 1.9
And WinDIP 1.7

Steps I Take.

1. First Insert My Original Copy.
2. Then Open DVD Decryptor. Set It To Mode > ISO > Read
3. It Reads The CD From The Source And Makes A ISO.
4. Then I Open ISOBuster And Extract The Files To A New Folder Correctly.
5. Open CD/DVD Generator 1.50 And Looking At ISOBuster, Add The Files In Order.. Checking Them At The End For Any Mistakes.
6. Click Volume And Fill Out The "SLUS #####" (Whatever The Number = #), PLAYSTATION And The License Which Could Be Any. For Me Its America.
7. Click Record, 2 Errors Come Up Then CD/DVD Recorder Controller Comes Up.
8. Click Export IML, Wait Till The IML Gets Build Then Close The ISOBuster And CD/DVD Generator 1.50
9. Open Up IML 2 ISO v4 And Click The 3 Dots To The Right.. Open Up The IML That The CD/DVD Generator 1.50 Wrote.
10. Click Start Then Wait Till It Finishes Rebuilding It.
11. Now You Can Look At The Size Of The Original ISO , And The Rebuilded 1. (For The Disks I Tried To Back Up, They Had No Dummy Files)
12. Open Up Your Burning Utility, If Its DVD Decryptor, Then Open It Up, Click "w" Which Is Write, Set The Write Speed To 4x, Change Booktype If You Want By Clicking The Book At The Bottom Right, Then Look For The Source ISO, And Click The DVD Harddrive On The Bottom. That Starts The Burning.
12a. For Me I Use Nero Burning Rom 7. All The Settings Are Correct, Multisession OFF, Burning At 4x, BURN-Proof = Enabled, Booktype Set, ETC.
13. For Burning Images I Just Choose My Recorder Then Click Burn Image.. And Start My Burn.
14. This Is When I Take Out My DVD After Its Burned And Try To Play It.
15. For Me This = FAILURE.

Please Comment Back On This , Ty.

Ok first you don't have to rebuild every games you just rip and burn unless it over limit 4.38gb now it could also be you media you good media. I would recommend using ty, verbatim, or sony made in japan DVD-R cause you won't have to go through the whole booktyping thing and get 8x burn at half speed 4x and your good.

You have a modchip, so as Noamos said, if the game is under 4.37 gigs, you don't need to rebuild.

DVD Decrypter- mode-iso-read, mode-iso-write.

You have a lite on then you can booktype DVD+R and set them to burn as a dvd-rom, just click on the little book(dvd decryptor) its located at the bottom right have corner and select your burner and setting as dvd-rom. If you don't want to go through that, just get DVD-R its tdk should be alright what media I'd do they have, you can check that on dvd decryptor/ under media manufacture or something like that, check that and get back to us.

Personally I don't rate TY discs. The only time I used them I only got a 60% success rate, and many of those skipped a lot.
With RITEK G05, I get a 100% success rate & all the games play perfectly.
So try & get some RITEK

Always 1st with 100% working PS2 Online Game DNA$ IDs!!

Ah Ok.. I Learned How To Successfully Burn A DVD =).. That One Was Just For Rebuilding.. All I Got To Do Is Burn The MDS.. But Since The MDS Was Small I Was Thinking It Would Mess Up My Disk.. So Now What I Will Do Is Basically If I Rebuild.. I Will Take The Rebuilded Image And Replace It With The MDS Iso =).

the whole point was that you shouldn't need to rebuild. Besides, if you get Gnie's expert rebuild program, it does it all for you.
