Burnt DVD Video-wont play on the dvd burner itself

Ive got BenQ DW1650 , i burnt a few DVD videos with it, two of which run on my PS2 and the laptop's combo drive but wont run on my Benq DVD burner which burnt the discs.........what may be the problem?

isnt the DVD burner suppose to read better than the other DVD drives?

i used "Melody (Tayo Yuden) 8x DVD-R" ,burnt at 4X,Firmware BCHC,Ultra DMA Mode 2.

it shows the Duo as Blank DVDs.

there is another CDr which has got some scratches on it ,which also shows up as an empty cd, but runs well on the laptop combo drive?
