multiposting is very very annoying, as is posting things in irrelevant forums, hovever i've teleported this to the correct forum (where there are many threads that have the answers to this question) and i've closed the other one

no problem; there are loads of links in this very forum for those, just scan down the first half a dozen pages or so or the search function will locate them for you..

http://cdcovers.cc/ is a good site with not only movies, but also game covers.
About any program can print them, especially if its just a front or back cover for a case. They are already formatted to the right size when you download, then just print the picture.
If its the disc directly, dont use a sticker on top of the disc, it messes up playback by not spinning right (think of an unbalanced load of laundry spinning in the tub).
You need a special printer that prints directly to the disc, and inkjet printable discs to put in it. The printer has the program to set it up so either way, depending on whats wanted its easy to do.

Many times when I reauthor a movie, I will take out the menus and just put the picture of the DVD cover leading in as my own menu. Resolution for computer monitor and DVD disc always seems fine, many times its a printer setup or the like that blurrys it up a bit I think.
