Socom 3 DNAS Question

just woundering if you need to apply the DNAS ID code to the game to play it period i dont want to go online or anything cuzz thats why i got the original im talking about my backup copy... or for any other games that uses DNAS IDs on there games? still a little new to PS2 Backups

You can not play the NTSC version of Socom 3 online with a backup. You can patch DNAS all day and it still won't let you in.

Thats not what he was asking.

If you're not gonna go online with an online game, then you don't need to patch DNA$. But you'd be as well patching it anyway, just in case you do want to go online with it at some point. ie: your original doesnt work anymore. However, as stated, the NTSC version of Socom 3 won't go online with a backup anyway. Only the PAL version. Which you need a Central Station account for.

thx well what i ment was backing up all my games for my offline use cuzz i have 2 ps2s my online one and one that i use to play my backups like for single player missions or other stuff if i dont have to patch em that is nice that is what i ment do i have to patch em to get them to boot up period thx for the info....
